Once you have HBC working, launch it and check what IOS it is using by pressing HOME. The IOS version is noted in the upper-right hand corner. Hello,
So recently I have been messing around with the possibilities of the Dolphin emulator. Awhile back ago I learned how to mod games on my Wii U's Virtual Wii. I never really got too deep into modding on there and I knew I could do it. Recently I have been searching for ways to mod my games in the same way that I did on the Wii. I have seen Project M emulated on this emulator and the Homebrew Channel booting. I am currently looking to install CTGP, and ways to download and inject custom Mario Kart Wii tracks, and music into the game. I would also like to get knowledge on how to find and install mods that work for Dolphin. I want to be able to find a mod and know how to install it like how I could on Riivolution and Homebrew.
I have tried to boot the boot.elf files with all necessary files in the SD card. The Homebrew channel gives an 'invalid write to' error while Riivolution and CTGP don't boot at all. I have heard that Homebrew was designed to crash dolphin, but I thought that was patched when it became open source. Maybe I have invalid info, but I have seen people do it. I have seen CTGP booted before as well for other people. I just cannot figure out how I can mod using these techniques and using other techniques as well. I have one mod currently installed and it was an ISO patcher. I have searched for my questions, but found no answer.
To sum it all up, I would like to learn how to mod my Wii games in general and have the knowledge and instructions to install mods on dolphin. Thanks in advance for your help.
